Acceptable Use Policy
Laatst bijgewerkt 1 mei 2026 · 3 min leestijd
KnipCloud is a marketplace. Everyone here — customers, salons, stylists — deserves to feel safe. This policy lists what's not OK.
You may not
- Harass, threaten, or defame any user, salon, or stylist.
- Post hate speech, sexual content involving minors, or content that promotes self-harm.
- Submit fake reviews, paid reviews, or coordinated review-bombing.
- Impersonate another person, salon, or KnipCloud staff.
- Scrape, copy, or harvest data from the platform without written permission.
- Reverse engineer, disassemble, or attempt to derive source code.
- Use the platform to facilitate any illegal service under Dutch law.
- Send unsolicited messages, advertising, or chain communications through the in-app chat.
- Attempt to bypass our rate limits, security checks, or fee structure.
Salons specifically may not
- List services they cannot legally deliver in the Netherlands.
- Discriminate against customers on the basis of any protected characteristic.
- Charge customers materially more than the price shown at booking (excluding agreed-upon add-ons).
- Use customer data shared via KnipCloud for any purpose other than serving that booking.
Customers specifically may not
- No-show repeatedly (3+ in 90 days triggers an account flag).
- Use multiple accounts to circumvent salon-side blocks.
- Pressure stylists for personal contact details outside the platform.
Reporting
If you see something that violates this policy, report it from any booking or profile page, or email abuse@knipcloud.com. We review reports within 1 business day.
Consequences
We may:
- Remove specific content.
- Warn the account.
- Suspend the account temporarily.
- Permanently ban the account.
We don't always disclose the specific reason for a ban — sometimes that protects the reporter — but we honour appeals received within 30 days.
