How does KnipCloud handle my data?

Short version: we collect only what we need to make booking work, we never sell your data, and you can export or delete it any time.

What we collect

  • Profile: name, email, phone, photo (optional).
  • Bookings: services booked, prices, salons visited.
  • Preferences: hair photos, allergy notes, product picks you save.
  • Device: IP address, browser, app version (used for security and crash debugging).

How it's used

  • To run the platform (book, cancel, pay, notify).
  • To improve product recommendations (which salons match your taste).
  • To send service emails (booking confirmations, reschedule prompts). You can opt out of marketing emails — service emails stay on.

Who we share with

  • The salon you book with (so they can prep for your visit).
  • Our payment processor (Stripe) for charge processing.
  • Nobody else, ever. We do not sell or rent customer data.

Your rights

Under GDPR you can:

  • Export your data — request from Account → Privacy.
  • Correct any field — edit your profile directly.
  • Delete your account and data — see our delete guide.
